What’s ahead for UnRestrict Minnesota

A record number of Americans today believe that abortion should be legal in all circumstances.

But in the year since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe and took away the federal right to abortion, more than 25,000 people nationwide were unable to get an abortion from a provider.

Minnesota can be a leader in abortion access: this past legislative session we enshrined abortion rights into law, passed laws to protect patients and providers, and repealed our state’s abortion restrictions.

We were ready for this moment, and now the next chapter of our work begins.

The Minnesota Beyond Roe: Leadership Agenda for Abortion Access, that we introduced last year on the day Roe was overturned, has been our guiding light for legislation and activism.

Join us as we work towards our third piece of the agenda: ensuring equitable and affordable access to abortion care. This includes taking on the anti-abortion center industry (also known as “crisis pregnancy centers”) and expanding funding for real pregnancy support services that provide medically accurate, unbiased information and support, free of preconditions and harassment.

Our coalition is ready for the work ahead.
