UnRestrict Minnesota Partners Ask Judge to Block North Dakota Abortion Ban – and more news

Last week on Give to the Max Day, we came to our community to ask for your continued support for our efforts to protect and expand abortion access in our state—and you delivered!

Thanks to you, as the clock struck midnight and brought Minnesota’s marathon of a giving holiday to a close, we crossed the finish line in time to unlock the generous $5,000 matching challenge gift from Scott Peterson and Kandace Olsen.

Every single gift is truly meaningful, from the early gifts that gave us a head start going into the day to the $5 donations that kept our coalition revved from hour to hour, to the anonymous $1,000 matching gift we received late in the afternoon that spurred another flood of donations.

Every single contribution fuels our coalition’s fight to ensure that our progress continues: that abortion access continues to expand as needs increase, that we continue our work to limit the reach of deceptive anti-abortion “crisis pregnancy centers,” and that abortion patients and providers alike have the resources they require and deserve.

On behalf of each of our coalition partners and everyone who will ever need abortion care in our state, we THANK YOU ALL.

UnRestrict Minnesota Partners Ask Judge to Block North Dakota Abortion Ban

Yesterday, the legal team challenging North Dakota’s extreme abortion ban asked the judge for a preliminary injunction, which would block enforcement of part of the law.

Gender Justice joined this lawsuit over the summer. And Red River Women’s Clinic, an UnRestrict Minnesota coalition partner, is one of the plaintiffs.
