EMTALA: Abortion at SCOTUS Again Next Week
Next Wednesday, the Supreme Court will hear its next high-stakes, post-Dobbs abortion case, this time challenging EMTALA, or the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act. At issue is the ability of health care providers to provide abortion care in life-threatening emergencies.
