March for Abortion Access 2022

On July 17th, over 10,000 people marched and rallied for abortion access in a historic event organized by UnRestrict Minnesota and partners from across the state.

“Today is just the beginning,” said UnRestrict Minnesota Campaign Director Abena Abraham. “We are going to be back on these steps to hold our leaders accountable and make sure the Minnesota Beyond Roe agenda is passed and abortion care is accessible to everyone who needs it, whether or not they live in our state.”

    The American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, member-supported affiliate of the ACLU, promoting, protecting and extending the civil liberties and civil rights of all Minnesotans through litigation, lobbying and community engagement.

    ERA MN works to place an Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) question on the Minnesota Ballot and pass it statewide. and to enact the ERA as the 28th Amendment to the US Constitution.

    The Liberate Abortion Campaign is an effort comprised of more than 150 reproductive justice and rights organizations, groups, and abortion providers working in coalition to fight for abortion that is available, affordable, accessible, and stigma-free for anyone who needs it.

  • National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum

    National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) is the leading progressive organization building power with Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) women and girls across the country to gain full agency over our lives, families, and communities. Since 2005, the St. Cloud Chapter has served as a safe space for community building and political education for AAPI women and girls in Central Minnesota. In 2022, we rebranded to NAPAWF Minnesota to expand our work into the rest of the state.

    Our Justice was founded in 1967 by a small group of doctors, clergy, and community members to assist Minnesota women in accessing abortion care. Our Justice supports people’s reproductive and sexual human rights through their Abortion Access Fund, Abortion Assistance Lodging Program, and community advocacy grounded in reproductive justice.

    The Lawyering Project is a legal advocacy organization focused on improving access to reproductive healthcare in the United States through litigation that advances an intersectional framework. Their goal is a legal system that enables each of us to make decisions about intensely personal matters like sex, pregnancy, family, and healthcare based on our own beliefs and values; and ensures that we all have the resources we need to carry out those decisions.
