Amid nonstop federal attacks on abortion access and bodily autonomy, it’s more important than ever to take action. The time is now to fortify abortion rights in our state constitution and pass legislation that supports equitable access to care.

Our vision is to achieve full reproductive justice, an organizing framework created by Black women, where every person has the ability to decide if, when, and how to become a parent; raise healthy children in safe and thriving communities; and have gender freedom and bodily autonomy. We know that, especially right now in our state, this is not a reality for many, especially for immigrant, BIPOC, and native communities targeted by ICE.

At Lobby Day, you will hear from leaders in Minnesota’s reproductive freedom movement about the intersections of reproductive freedom and other social justice movements, receive training and resources to prepare for meeting with your state legislators about reproductive justice issues, and get a chance to connect with more of your neighbors.

The day will culminate with a rally in the Capitol rotunda at 1:30 PM.

Our coalition is approaching this event with care, prioritizing safety and adding extra precautions. We would love to see you in person, but we understand that many in our communities are currently unable to safely show up at the Capitol.
