Bodily Autonomy is Everyone’s Right

Take a look at our conversation series with members of Med Students for Choice, a diverse group of University students who are united in the shared belief that people are capable of making their own health decisions when it comes to abortion care. These students have a real passion for reproductive health care and see it as their duty to speak out about the role of autonomy and what it means to follow the medical ethics and Hippocratic oath as a health care provider including when it comes to abortion care.

“One of the tenets of medical ethics is we want to give patients autonomy. If we don’t allow women to have abortions, that’s violating their autonomy.”
